Road closures planned for this weekend

After a pandemic hiatus, the Napa Wine Country Half Marathon in Sonoma and Rose 5k are back this weekend, rain or shine. The races, which will bring 3,500 runners to the Plaza, could disrupt traffic Saturday between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and Sunday between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., according to Lisa Janson, responsible for special events for the city of Sonoma.

Road closures planned for Rose 5k on Saturday (7 am-10am)

∎ Heading north on First Street East between Spain and Napa

∎ Spain Street between Fourth Street East and First Street East

∎ Lovell Valley Road between Fourth Street East and Gehrke

∎ Brazil Street between Gehrke and Fourth Street East

∎ Fourth Street East between Spain and rue du Brésil

∎ Cycle path between Fourth Street East and First Street East

∎ Dale Avenue

∎ Burndale Road from Dale Avenue to Old Burndale Road

∎ Seventh Street East to East Napa Street
