The destination marketing organization for Moray and Speyside this week reveals details of a UK marketing campaign focused on boosting tourism in the region and promoting opportunities for “outdoor pursuits, natural experiences and of well-being”.
The Visit Moray Speyside – Your Next Adventure Starts Here – campaign has been backed by £75,000 from VisitScotland’s Destination and Area Marketing Fund, and includes video and digital content to showcase the range of outdoor opportunities, adventure and well-being on offer.
This is Visit Moray Speyside’s biggest marketing campaign in the UK to date.
It highlights the quality and breadth of experiences that can be found in the region and encourages visitors to “Stop. Breathe. Go.” getting away from it all for a short break to slow down, relax, eat and get out and explore the unspoilt natural landscapes of one of Scotland’s emerging tourist destinations.
The campaign launched in November and will run through August across social media and digital channels, with a mix of different advertisements, rolled out across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and digital signage targeting specific audiences across the Kingdom. -United.
The campaign also includes a digital element with optimized destination landing pages and advertisements, including on Expedia, to entice visitors to book overnight stays and short breaks over the coming months.
A content partnership with YouTube creators that includes both video and editorial content in print and online publications, including Cycling Plus, will complement the region’s largest marketing campaign and provide potential visitors with authentic insight into world-class off-road, gravel and long-distance biking options available at Moray Speyside.
Another UK-wide editorial will feature running and other outdoor activities.
