Fan arrested after going wild on 2022 Super Bowl court

Ticket prices for the 2022 Super Bowl would have averaged over $6,000, so naturally two fans threw that down the drain for a chance to run on the court.

One of those fans caused a brief delay to the game during the third quarter at SoFi Stadium, rushing onto the pitch and finding plenty of room to run – even while closing in on the Rams group – before dying. finally being stopped by security. The man, who was eventually led off the pitch by three security guards, appeared to be carrying some sort of banner, although its contents are unclear.

Before being shot, the man ran almost the full length of the field and at one point a Rams player chased him away from the rest of the players.

He was the second fan who had to be removed from the pitch by security on Sunday, as photographs captured another man being taken away earlier in the day.

Neither stayed long enough to see a tightly contested game that turned nail-biting in the fourth quarter.
