CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Whether you’re by the pool, at an outdoor concert, or enjoying the summer in the comfort of air-conditioning, there’s a sweet treat that brings us all together. is ice cream.

In honor of National Ice Cream Day on Saturday, July 18, here are the best ice cream parlors in Clarksville.

Frozen fuel

Frozen fuel: Frozen Fuel is a family-friendly ice cream parlor located on Strawberry Alley in downtown Clarksville. They serve both ice cream and dairy free ice cream. Their dairy blend comes from cows free of growth hormones, steroids, and antibiotics, and their dairy-free ice cream is made with coconut or almond milk. This joint is exclusive as it is only open on weekends in spring and summer. La Michoacana Delicias: They are located off Riverside Drive at the Two Rivers Mall and are open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. They have ice cream, sorbets and a selection of popsicles. Baskin robbins: Baskin-Robbins has two locations, one on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and the other on Fort Campbell Boulevard. Known for its 31 flavors, there is so much you can do. This month, they have a special Beach Day ice cream that features vanilla sea salt ice cream, milk chocolate caramel sea turtles, and a graham cracker crunchy sand swirl. Freeze White House dairy products: This ice cream drive-thru on College Street has been a staple in the community for some time, but this hidden gem is known for much more than its malt shakes. If you are in the mood for a cheap shake and Korean staples, then this is the place for you. 1138 College Street, Suite A, 931-645-2956.

Golly G’s: Golly G’s has a location in Clarksville off Sango. They offer 30 flavors of ice cream, with a few dairy free options. They offer ice cream cones, shakes, splits and everything in between. One of their most famous selections, worthy of their namesake, is The Golly G, which features a shareable serving of one of their giant cinnamon rolls topped with a scoop of sweet butter ice cream and drizzled with gravy. with Ghirardelli caramel. 2622 Madison Street, 931-919-1105.

Coldstone Creamery: Coldstone Creamery has two locations, one on Madison St. and one on Tiny Town Road. The company has been bringing endless flavor combinations to Clarksville for a few years now.
